d60 front brakes
anyone know where to find an aftermarket setup for a front d60, or after market calipers and rotors? also people running a d60 up front in a yj with a stock yj booster what MC do you use and do you use a proportioning valve? i've heard of a lot of MC's that fit TJ's but none that are bolt in to yj's

http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/60_front/ do i little research. ive got the blackbirds brackets for my front ford d60. they are nice but dont fit snug to the caliper. i may not have gotten the proper year caliper. and, after the fact i found out i need a 1/4" spacer on top of the bracket to make it all work. they didnt mention that on their website. there is another company with brackets that do the same thing but come with the 1/4" spacer as well. too late for me. i cannot recall what the name of the company is, but its somewhere on pirate. search for theMC info. there are a few whole threads dedicated to the swap alone. i hear late '70s lincoln master cylinders bolt right on, as well as 3/4ton dodge trucks from about 2000 and up bolt on. either way, search for info, lots on pirate about this swap |
