5.3 or 6.0 questions for a TJ.

I have read a lot of the 5.3 swap thread and it is more geared to how do you do this, and doesnt answer my questions.

My 6 cyl is knocking, and I want to swap it with a 5.3 or 6.0. What all is needed? I know I will have to change the motor and tranny but what about the transfer case? I have the NP231

If I do the swap and get all of the parts including the t/c, will the computer need to reprogrammed for the jeep?

Is there a wiring harness I can buy that hooks up to the jeep connectors that will control all of the gauges?

Can I still run A/C?

I am sure there is some motor mounts that can be purchased and welded on. right?

Will I have to do any body modifications?

I want to make the decision whether or not to do the swap and keep the jeep, or fix the 6 cyl and sell it. I dont mind the work, but I dont want to have this thing down for too long either.

Look at the Novak site, they have some good information and if you call, they can answer your quesitons. tim
