Heres a pic of a 59 I am fixing up. Nothing special, oddfire dauntless V6, warn overdrive and a few other parts to make it a lil more enjoyable

Looks great, keep up the good work, and post more pics. I love that old body with the battery box on the cowl. I'd change out the odd fire for a newer injected 231 for smoother operation.

Cj

A few more from when I brought it home. I have it stripped down for the most part. I ordered new patch panels for it, since the body had alot of areas that looked like swiss cheese. Not real happy with the panels I got though. They kind of feel like tin foil

Doing all the body work on this is slowly killing me. Just when I think I am getting ahead, I find another bad spot. I would really like to find a set of seat brackets for this. I can't seem to figure out a good way to mount the seats. I would really like to be able to use the compartment under the passenger seat, but I really can't figure out a good way to safely mount the seat and still have it safe. The person who I got the Jeep from just ran some flat stock from door jam to door jam, and mounted some pick and pull buckets to that.

what kind of seats do you have, they look similar to ones I have in my 63. I can try and get some pics sometime (need to beg the kids to let me use one of their cameras).

I still have use of the compartment under the passenger seat. The seat removes real easy with the mounts I have. I have heated Best Top buckets. Not sure how to explain how they are mounted, so let me see about getting pictures. It may help you, may not.
