Frame specs
Im considering putting a cj2a body on my toyota frame and I don't have a cj2a around to check measurements and I cant find what Im looking after two days of searching.
What I need to know is the measurements from the bend in the frame by the fire wall to where the front bumper mounts. Also, the the length of the flat section of the frame before it bends on either side were the tub sits. And what is the over all length of the frame and length of the hood?

I agree, as I told one person either I will have all the jeep and toyota guys liking me or I will piss everyone off by building something like this.
I got the idea from rigs like slinky.

I can measure my MB frame for you tonight, it should be close.
On my new frame, I designed it around using 'rear' springs on all 4 corners AND I stretched the wheelbase 3" front and rear. My fabbed frame fit the chassis pretty well so far. The measurement of the flat belly section is 48.25" The measurement from the kick to the front bumper is 39" ( this is designed for the longer springs and pushed axle location ). The original frame would be shorter.

Thank you Mieser that really helps.
My Toyota frame measures front section 39" middle section 59" It looks like I will be ok and have some frame sticking out. Does anyone have the measurement for length of the hood? I just want to make sure my motor will fit under there with plenty of clearance for the radiator because my block looks like it is longer than the stock go devil.
