Anyone Convert A Go-Devil To Fuel Injection?
My goals are something that can go from sea level to higher elevations without fouling a set of plugs. I'm planning on a trip to Black Bear Road this summer and I don't think my little Go Devil is up to it with the thin air. The thought of pulling my L-134 to replace it with a 4.3 has crossed my mind. But honestly, it makes me sick to my stomach.
There are a million options for an ECM & related wiring, but I'm looking for someone that has already done it to see what they used for a TBI. Ideas? |

Looks like the only tough-ish part is fabbing the throttle body adapter. Ive looked around a bit, and its not the easiest kit to track down, but it is still available here and there. Seems pretty straightforward. Ive been considering doing this swap, but I got my 42 GPW nearly fully rebuilt, with a brand new carb, so Im going to run it like that for a while. i dont plan on driving it up the hill though. My rig is mostly to just bounce around town in, and I think trying to get it from Denver up into the mountains would be a slow and frustrating trip.
