Extreme Willys Wagons and Trucks
Ok I can't take it anymore, so post up... (inspired by Pdaddy's post)
All you fellows out there with Wagons, Trucks, or Willys other than CJ's post up you hard work. A pic and description. I want this thread to help others that are still working on the forgotten cousins of the Jeep. I have a 1959 Willys Wagon mated to a 1976 Wagoneer chassis. Running Dana 44's front and rear, 401V8, TH 400, 4" of Lift, 35" Dunlop MT's, 12000 lb winch and more to come, but not yet finished. There should be a guy in Yuba City with a bad ass truggy too. Pic's coming shortly. If we get good enough response I can create a mailing list for those that want to assist or talk shop without dogging the Pirate Board. Later AJ

I have a 47 Willys truck I've been working on for a while. I took an 18 inch strip out of the center and put the two sides back together. Now it is about 24 inches wide in the front and 48 inches wide in the rear. Center mounted steering and one bucket seat. Can poke my head out of ether side window and see each front tire. Mounted the cab on a shortend 100 inch wheel base 1977 J20 frame. 360 T18 granny low dana 44/60 spring over. I have some pictures.

Thanks mark.bales for posting a photo. Got a long way to go on the project. Have to fab a front clip, small box in back will be like a dump box to get at fuel cell and batteries, make roll cage ect. Trying to keep it mostly stock 77 J20 parts, except for high angle rear drive shaft (thanks Jess). Got the cab for free so I didn't have anything to loose by trying to narrow it, I think it turned out ok. Then when it's done I get to rip it all apart again to blast and paint. More than likly run 36x16 rims and tires. more cab photos at littlewillys web site. I would like to get on that e mail list too.

The third pic shows the engine moved back 4" from the stock location, and the frame was shortened in the middle 5". Thanks AJ

Work in progress, but will be ALL parts from Jeeps. I finished the front clip this weekend. 1950 Willy pickup on a 1973 wagoneer frame and drive train. Its an AMC 304, but I's gonna bore if over .060 and build it from there. Why? I paid $150 for the whole 1973 wagoneer....
