1952 willys on 1993 blazer chassis??
Hey pro jeeper people, I am searching for info on swapping a 52 delivery body on to a 93 fullsize chevy blazer. I want the independent front, sbc power and drivetrain, axles, etc. Chevy body comin off and jeep body going on. Im doing a close to complete resto and hoped to find someone who has done the same or similar to discuss certain limitations and/or suggestions. This will rarely see a rough trail, more for show n go, fishin trips, yadda yadda. yeah yeah, i know chevy and jeep....but if anyone knew of someone or somehwere to check out, i would much appreciate it. thanks!

No.
Please don't fuck up a nice vintage body for some stupid ass show and shine mall crawler. Want IFS, late model powertrain, cushy ride? build a Blazer. Either resto the Wagon properly, or build a cool trail rig out of it. Don't make some bastard science fair redneck punchline out of it. Besides- unless you've got lots of time and above average fab skills, it'll be so hack even you'll be embarrassed to drive it. |
