the only issue is making sure you have enough separation between the upper and lower links to control the axle.

ok....links are done and everything is presented....BUT...I will make a change...
I need to move the lower links outside of the frame. At this moment, they are under the frame and they touch it at full compression. One posibility was to lower the bump stops 2", but I prefer to go the difficult way...

Update...
All links mounts are done. Now working on the CO mounts. Yes, there is a bar that goes from tower to tower (at the top). It should be done by friday.

Was he going slow or were you going fast? It looks like you could have easily passed him.

jajajaj....The pilot of that Hummer was (he is out of the competition now) Eliseo Salazar, a chilean ex F1 driver that drives off road like shit....At the woops he was very slow, as you can see it was easy to catch him with my Willys, and that Hummer has an amazing suspension !, then we hit the flats and probably we were making 60 mph...then he finally took off.

Looks great! I was watching the Dakar yesterday and thought I might see your
Willys. I need to buy another house before I can start working on my willys again. When you get time, could you take some pictures of the frame side mounts and your link size and lengths? Are frames and axles are pretty close to the same, and I would like to cheat and get as much info as I can. Thanks |

Just arriving from the Atacama desert again
![]() The MB did great. I had the oportunity to test it against a 6.1 Hemi JK....check the video to see the results..(we did 4 runs, always the same result) Anyway, I just sold my 5.3 engine to a friend....now the old Willys will sport a 2007 6.0 LY6, with LS3 Vette´s intake with 47 lb/hr injectors and Nelson reprog. ![]() YouTube - Willys 5.3 v/s Rubicon Hemi

I agree, but in the other hand, you have 425 hp vs 310-320 at the most.
