i just got a d44 for the front and d60 for the rear. just gonna run leaf springs for now then later probably some coilovers. 4 speed manual with a np 205 and a 350

eventually i will put some kind of fuel injected motor but that will come with time and money.

Sounds good man. Should be a cool build. I will be watching this . I have always loved these trucks. My grandfather had one not sure the year but I got some old pics of his. What size tire you gonna run? What kind all terrain or mud, krawlers ? I say throw on some 37 inch bfg krawlers and keep the cog low. Just my 2 cents. Cool build though.

ya that awesome i love these trucks. im probably gonna throw some 35 or 37 in bfg mud terrains. the wheeling around here is alot of trails and mud, very little krawlin.

got bored this weekend and set the frame on the axle to see what it would look like. no rear leaf spring and just setting on the front springs.

ya man i got a steal on the whole truck. i recently picked up a 4.3l throttle body injected engine so now i have most of all the pieces to the puzzle so i can start assembling!
