Willys Wagon Blazer Chassis???? - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

Ok I've heard about swapping a Willys wagon body on to a K5 Blazer chassis. Thing is I can't find out a lot of information or pics of one that has been done. I've got a 49 Willys wagon and a 73 Blazer I was gonna use. I just want to know the pros/cons of using the K5 platform. Oh and some pics would be good too.

Forgot to add I'm planning on running 39.5" tires. Anyone know how much lift I will need?? I don't want to trim/cut the body. Thanks

Blazer front end is about 10 inches wider than the rear. They did that for a big block motor. Thats the worst frame and axle combo for a NARROW willys.

yea blazer frames are ok for building lifted comaro's and things like that but if your building a wheeler out of one you better be thinking about plateing and boxing the frame. those frames stock will twist like no tomarrow!
