Best locker in a swb?

Swaping axles in my 3A but not sure what locker to use. 8.8 full width in rear and d44 in front cut to match rear. Wheel base will stretch a little but trying to pic a combo of lockers that will still let it turn. Dont wana spend a bunch of c-notes and hate a full detroit in the rear. Will a pair of lunchbox's turn and do the job on 31's?

yup...Spartan lunchbox in my D44 front on 35's on it's 2nd season. Buddy with a 47 CJ2a runs a Lockrite lunchbox in his rear D44. He has 2-3 years on it now with no problems on 33's. Assume the same luck with an 8.8 version, be hard to hurt anything on 31's.
