Is it possible to leak trans fluid into the transfer case.
It's a th350 adapted to a dana 18. The gear oil is a little red and I am low
About a quart in trans. Any help wound be great

The seal in your adapter is bad. My Novak has never leaked, and I've had it since 1994. The bearing went bad, and they fixed it for free.
I would want to know for a fact tranny fluid was leaking into it though.

I should find out soon everything is is at the correct level now
I don't no what adapter was used but it runs quiet and nice

Another question my adapter isn't cast but it looks like welded steel parts any ideas who makes one like that it looks well made and fits nice. I am looking for ideas for parts once I get it apart.
