Willys meet up, Moab Utah, May-14

So I was disapointed last year I wasn't able to mkae it out to moab in 2010 for the willys meet up. I was so busy this year I had completely forgot about it, and as it turns out they happened to hold the event the same week I was there. I was really excited to see some of the Willys I'd drooled over online and that had inpired me during my own Build.

I'm sure the others may post up, but it was really cool since I have never seen this many sweet ass willy's vehicles in one place!


This one was particularly interesting to me, since it is sitting on a Wrangler Rubicon chasis and drivetrain.

So If I was lucky enough to find myself in moab on that date. Would my rig qualify as a willys? Even with family in UT, I would be lucky to make that run

They were a welcoming bunch, esp since I showed up in a wrangler. Only problem is you are a year late to the shindig.

Sure, last year there were more than just trucks and wagons, I say the more the merrier...

blue skies, I just noticed your post above elbastardo, I was just looking on oldwillysforum.com this morning and saw the thread. Too bad I'll be in moab in june and totally miss it. Last year I just happen to be in town the same weekend as them, and happen to see a few of them around town.

With allot of luck and extra cash from windfall unseen, I would love to be there My folks live in UT, so theres another reason yet
