1960 cj5 t98 swap

I have a stock 1960 cj5 with the f-head motor, t90 trans, and dana 18. I found a guy that has a t98 transmission that he pulled from a f head cj5. He says it has the bellhousing and transfer case adapters bolted to the transmission and will bolt into my cj5.
Can I use my bell housing as long as I have the adapter and is there anything else I need other than the driveshafts and tunnel cover?

Get the cross member their different, get both drive shafts, and will have to modify your floor for transfercase levers, your basically installing a T-18 to your f-head. Bell housings are the same fromwhat I remember the adapter mounts to trans.

T-98 into CJ5

Hi everybody, I'm new to the site and posting from Turkey.
I have swapped a T-98 tranny into my 1962 CJ5.The transfer is DANA 18 twin stick.I have not changed the floorpan overlay,but made a new saddle to house the transfer shift levers,so they go up the original opening.
There are two more auxilarry bolt holes on each underside of the frame rails to move the frame crossmember and the skidplate backward.I removed the crossmember back and bolted to these holes.The round torque pad on the passenger side and under the transfer coincides perfect,but I have two major problems;
1.I can't use the other torque pad-the rectangle one which goes underside the transmission between the crossmember and the tranny.I dislike the quick solution I have done.
Is there any special plate , adapter or something like that for the purpose?
Or any other special crossmember design for a T-98 on early CJs?
2.The tranny has a PTO unit mounted on the driver's side and it obstructs the engine stay cable.I don't want to remove the PTO unit.
Any idea how to install the stay cable?
All help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
I don't need to modify the floorpan.I manufactured sort of saddle to support the shift sticks of the transfer and they go through the original opening in the floorpan.I have settled all the other task such as tilting the pumkin upward about 15 degrees,shortened the rear prop and lenghtened the front one.All the adapter plates,main drive gear etc are all settled.Except these two questions;Transfer mount to the crossmember and engine stay cable.
Any idea about the difference of the two crossmembers?How/where can I see (the photo) of that different crossmember?
