1992 Willys
No, it's not a mistake - 1992 retro Willys:
Been lurking here for a while but it's time to post. Had my first Jeep [1968 Kaizer cj5] 33 years ago. Moved to Harley-Davidson zone [have fxdl 1995 for the last 15 years]. ![]() For 5-6 years looking after good Willys wagon/panel and 2 years ago 2 years ago I purchased All-Storm Jeep having in mind to use it some day as a donor to make full upgrade to Wagon or Panel [the wheel base is only 2cm' shorter] . The jeep is 1992 Jeep YJL made in Israel as All Storm. It became my winter/mooving the kids daily drive. Since I have it I'm keep thinking: instead of buying Willys, work on it for some years, [spent all that money…], why not to make a 'Retro All-Storm Willys'? I started with Willys wagon hood, grill and fenders and I'm in the process of making out of them a fiberglass molds. My goal is: Stage 1: to take off the All Storm hood, lights, grill, bumper and fenders and to install the modified fiberglass parts. Stage 2 [next year]: to duplicate/fabricate Wagon roof. Windows/side panels and to made fiber top. What do you think? Did any of you sow something like that ?

Scrambled Willys
Looks from the back like one of the Alaskan Postal Jeeps/Scramblers

You are right.
The guys at Automotive Industries Ltd http://www.ail.co.il/Index.asp got the new 1991-1992 Yj and made it to fit the I.D.F needs - longer, stronger and with top. my best guess is thay took CJ8 frame+ CJ10 grill and haed lights + postal top and modified CJ hood, put all in big food processor with the new YJ parts - and you can see the outcome ![]() Actually the Storm1 is a wonderfull JEEP but most of the people just put Wrengler YJ hood and grill, shorten it and take off the top:
