It's in JHV OHV area. It is completely open. It's a playground for rock rigs. Not so much trail riding persay, but some of the stupidest obsticals around.

JV OHV is roughly 40 miles x 40 miles.

The Hammers are at one end and Cougar Buttes are at the other.

And you can camp litterally feet from any of a 1000 different obsticals.

Make sure you pack out your garbage. Leave it better than you found it.

Turn right off off Camp Rock when you get to the big powerlines, turn right when you get to te big rocks, park, and wheel. When I went out there Memorial Day, Pole Line Road said no J.V. access, but you can go to the next little road and it will intersect with the pole line road.
I go to C.B. when I go out by myself. Most lines out there are close enough that I could walk back to my tow rig and use it to winch off of if something goes wrong.

Whadya mean??? We were the last to leave there, a day later, and the place was spotless...of course we spent four hours with Bec, me, Garet, and Chase packing trash bags full of trash and hauling it out, as well as stopping and picking up all of the signs along the road.

I called Heidi and she said they paid a competitor (who will remain nameless) to have his/her kids pick up the trash...she assumed it was done. We watched that competitor pull out fifteen minutes after Bob and Heidi left I will address it with Heidi and the competitor at the next event. My kids lost their motorcycle time to clean up someone else's mess.

We were not happy it was left that way but did our part as we should. At the same time, I must say that a number of competitors are pigs. They made a huge mess in the pit area and left it. Sure, some of it was from spectators, but dirty rags, zip ties, ultrablack silicone packages, and other auto related stuff are dead giveaways that teams should do better. We cleaned that up too.

I will add though, that we stayed for two days after Farmington as well and they (ProRock) left the place in great shape there...I did pull down a number of UROC leftovers from the walls though. No mistaking a SkyJacker and UROC banner border. I bet I pulled nails from the rock for three hours straight...hundreds of them. And yes, I threw them away...too bad the locals don't recognise that pallets have nails.

Bravo Dustin and family, I would expect nothing less from you and yours. Glad your kids don't mind trading the motorscooter time for making sure the area is clean.

BTW, I was picking up trash on Tuesday in down town Riverside on my Jury duty break so I can assure you its not just offroaders who are pigs.... It's basicly everyone.

Also if you don't want the long ass straight drive up granite you can go around the opposite way it just leads around the mountain and takes about twenty minutes longer but it's fun nothing too hard except you gotta go a sand filled wash for bit, no problem for 35in or more tires though. Have fun great wheeling up there I live about 40min away.

The ProRock area looked clean after the event but the camps to west of the event were horrible. We picked up several trash bags full in just our immediate area.

ProRock and the whole weekend was a blast

Not sure of the legality, but I dont agree with people dumping the Gray water tank on there RVs. It stinks and its filthy. I saw several people doing it right in their camps.
