Have you ever had guys that wouldn't move out of the way?

We had these guys that wouldn't move or even try to move out so we could get by them. They held us up for about 2 hours on Clawhammer.

There were a couple of buggies that went around them but we had fullsize rigs with us and we needed the Jeep at the bottom of the waterfall to move a little. These guys just refused to cooperate. I guess these guys want us to do onto them as they did onto us.

Anyone else have this problem often?

Its sad that there are rude ignorant people in the world of wheeling as well as any other life style. The polite thing to do is drag that POS over to the side BEFORE even taking one bolt out!! that way if you need someone to run to camp THEY COULD GO AROUND THE BROKEN POS TO GET WHATEVER THEY NEEDED!! I agree with you man. No matter how I get treated on the trail, that is ONE thing I refuse to pass on.

Just let it roll off your back and take this as example of How NOT to be on the trail

Why not just turn around and go back?

Or hell just drive around them?

We did claw friday night and it seems pretty wide now?

I see in the 3rd pic the broken knuckle i remember seeing that at night. haa

they didnt want to turn around and back out cause the stockish rigs that were with them could only run claw, plus rich was testing the formula toy out for the first time.

But if i woulda had the samurai out there I woulda pulled up and blasted some death metal on full volume so they would hurry up and got out of there.

last year at the jambo, i was by myself and there was a traffic jam on sledge. i was told by the first jeep that i couldnt get around all the people. i sad, okay buddy...then i proceeded to snake all around their rigs climbing over thier tires. finally i get up the guy who's broke, who's right in the middle of the trail. i could easily get around him with my rig, but all the jeeps behind me couldnt so they just chose to block the trail as well.

Yeah,
There were two buggys that came down the trail and were able to get around the 3 jeeps blocking the trail. Everyone in my group, including myself moved to make it easier for them to continue on their way. It's just too bad those three blocking the trail for the rest of us couldn't do the same.

Is there any legal action some one could take against me if their rig gets dented or scraped while off roading?

last year at the all-pro event we had a similar experience on claw. Open diffs, broken rig... Tried to walk up and help spot but nobody was listening. After patiently waiting for over an hour I told the group that since they werent going to move and werent going to listen to advice that we were gonna put the pass on and be on our way.

Long story short we put the pass on, and the lead vehicle in the other group pulled across the trail to block the last 2 rigs in our group from going around. After a heated exchange the guy finally moved. Was yelling something about us not knowing the rules of the hammers or something

The more people on the trails the more this will happen. Sad but true. Just like the problems we have up here with people going off trail etc. Few bad apples ruin it for everyone. Oh well, not like I am losing any sleep over it

Hey dipshit have you ever ran the trail? That line to left is not as easy as it looks especially in a full size or a rig with 33's and an open front diff.

Ya once or twice

a year over the last nine or ten years, usualy backward as an add on on the way back from WB, SB, or hwy20. Bottom line, if the situation couldn’t be improved or bypassed by the persons directly behind why is this conversation even taking place? I agree with the trail tampax problem but I saw a bypass around the problem and those passing out chit appear to have only compouded the problem.

I was there. You guys were a bunch of "dicks"

The guy in the black jeep with a loud motor was the worst, when he passed us there were rocks shooting out from under his tires and one almost hit me. He had the nerve to come down and try and apologize for acting like such a dick. I was about ready to knock his lights out.

next time you should just wait behind us, even if it takes all night long

Fair enough, I was the 1st rig through and didnt see what was going on behind me outside of the rig blocking the trial. Funny how you can get pissed because he apologized for it....that doesnt make sense dude

I don't see how we were dicks being that we waited a long ass time and passed when it was appropriate. Reving the motor and shooting rocks is gay though.

Next time I will just turn around and go somewhere else I guess because there is no way in hell I am going to sit on an easy ass trail waiting on a bunch of unprepared rigs. No thanks.

Ya, at the Hammers, if you break you get off to the side of the trail BEFORE you attempt to fix it.
That, or leave your Jeep at home and ride with someone with a more prepared rig.
