RV Storage near the Hammers? - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

So it looks like I am going to be spending a few weekends in Jan and Feb at the hammers. It costs me roughly $400 each round trip in gas for my RV. KT suggested we leave it somewhere out there and commute in a semi normal vehicle. Thoughts or recommendations?

Leaving it behind isn't preferred as KT doesn't care for cars or tents anymore.

Out of curiosity, how far is Landers from means?

yes thats the lone wolf, I don't know what dry storage is but hook ups are about $300 a month there. If you're looking for something closer there is an RV storage yard on the east side of lucerene on hwy 247, its about 15/20 miles from boone road.

I live in yucca, fenced back yard 2 acres, 2 BIG DOGS, off 247 and buena vista, I think about 15 miles from boone

Thanks a bunch MD. Looks like a plan. The inlaws/time share rv'ers were very nervous about me leaving it where there was/is no supervision.

We will talk more as time gets close. Drew, Fred, KT and the rest of my usual campers are loving the idea!
