trash on the trails
wheeling in JV over new years I noticed a lot of trash on the trails, mostly beer cans, and quite a ways up the trails so we cant say it was from other than rock crawlers, litter bugs suck

Sure it wasn't from your rig?! j/k ![]() But on a serious note, if we want to do everything possible to help win this battle to save Johnson Valley OHV as we know it, we all need to be good stewards to the place. We can't afford to be mindless pigs at this point in time

not only the trails.. but the lakebed is worse.. it amazes me what people try to burn...

I have a big magnet that I let the little guys drag around camp.
I'll even pay them for each nail they drag up. But as far as the trash goes, I have sat thier waiting for a group to move and watched people just toss cans.... that is why I do bring a trash bag with me on the trail.

Coming back out from Soggy Dry Lake (wasn't exactly DRY
) after New Years, we saw the line of rigs going around an obstacle on Bessemer Mine Road about 1/4 mile from the hwy. When we got closer we saw it was a black hefty trash bag scattered in the middle of the road. Everyone was just driving around it. My buddy pulled over and I stopped behind him. We spent the next 15 minutes picking up someone else's trash, turkey carcass, turkey neck, mashed potatoes, paper plates, half empty bottles, DIRTY F'in DIAPERS and WIPIES covered in SHIT, while our families waited in the trucks. Only one other rig stopped to help, Thanks for the GIANT garbage bag, we were screwed without it. All the others just went around, some of them laughing as they passed by.The only thing you should leave in the desert is piss and ashes (no nails please, got one in the sammi this trip as well)... Other than that, the weather was great. My daughter learned how to ride her quad, and my wife learned how NOT to ride a 50 ![]()

just because the bike is small doesn't mean you cant smack your head and get hurt or killed.

Ya, that's Darrel. I recognize the front of his Jeep...whereas he's always behind me, and pulling cable off my back corner.
