KOH Question

Just curious as to why the race is held during the week? This will be my first time going to the race and thought it strange to have it during the week.

Dave and Jeff wanted to make sure the area was open and useable for people on the weekends,when the majority of people use the area.The first KOH was designed to be more media friendly than spectator friendly,but the masses showed up anyways.This year is still the same mindset,but much more accommodating for spectators.

But wait.... Theres more!
Recreational impact was a huge part of it, but consider this;

We had a hunch that the reason live coverage of rockcrawling was not getting a huge amount of impressions and hits was that 4 wheelers are out 4 wheeling on the weekends, not sitting at a computer pretending to work. Last year we had amazing numbers, so I think its safe to say..... Nobody actually works. International impressions had an pretty good nut as well.
This year we will have media representation in the neighborhood of 40 pages across Europe. Plus almost every american off-road magazine will be on hand.

I recieved word today of three seperate TV shows, as well as a number of web based media. Seems Pirate still has the best in live coverage, so stay tuned here all week. Your likley to get historic web based motorsports coverage, Pirate is all in!

Insert Paul Harvey voice here.... Now you know the rest of the story.
