Wouldn't a 200tdi would bolt straight in?

First thing to consider is the overall condition of the truck. It is way cheaper and easier to bolt a 200tdi into a rust free 2.5na truck than it is to restore a rusty 200tdi. I have a 2.5 NA in a 90 and it is a great little runabout/trail rig, however it is not a good highway cruiser like a 200tdi is. it goes 100km/h with 33s and a 1.4 t-case. A 110 will have a 1.6 t-case and a good bit more weight so it will be slower than a 90. I love my 2.5NA but as soon as I find a 200tdi for cheap I am swapping.

Mike at Brittanica restorations is only 2 hours from MTL and 1 1/4 from my house, unfortunately he is closing up shop and moving to Dubai as the corrupt Port of Montreal has made his importing of containers very expensive. Go to www.britrest.com and he will tell you all about it ($4000 in ’’cleaning fees’’ for a freshly repainted 130)

That was years ago, and dont talk trash if you dont know what happened.
Said kid ( an aquaintance of the business owner, not an employee) used a lift truck to jack up his personal jeep while he was alone, without Mikes knowledge or permission. Mike came back to his shop and found the kid under the jeep. If someone snuck into your shop and died using your tools without your permission or knowing you would be in the same situation.

not talking trash, just saying what the story was that went around town where im from. we call em rumors....
the other rumor i heard was a rover shop in pei or halifax. kid cut his arterory in his leg while standing over the winch cable while extracting a stuck truck, they where on a club trail run. the kid died in the bush within 10 min. club got sued and so did the shop that sponsered the ride?
FWIW if this guy cant aford the import fees in montreal, why the hell is he moving to dubai? ant that the most expensive city in the world to live and operate? hum... something dont add up there.

Send a message via AIM to Leafsprung
$4000 surprise fee from customs is nothing. He got off lightly.
