How about: let off the fawkin brake and let it roll back down?

We use to say this in bike racing:

"to brake is to admit defeat"

There seems to be a few missing frames from when they stopped forward progress, to when the front wheel slides sideway and back, I wonder WTF they were doing ?

Gotta feel that - especially in a soft top - not pretty.

There was no way that should have been that dangerous - he/she had plenty of run out ...

Get off the brakes.

Its only as dangerous as the driver.... [no need for comment about my drivin here thanks...]

Hi guys. I was there!

About 5 years ago at a play site in Sussex (England) Bessie (Series IIA,3.9 V8 on carbs), being driven by Jerry Dark with Chris Watts as passenger was having a go at a tricky climb which had a loose surface and gradually got steeper towards the top. The video tells the story except for the missing frames where the camera operator stopped filming to have a better look! Jerry lost traction, failed to hold a straight line in reverse and rolled. Both occupants had full harness belts on and the vehicle had a cage, other than a few bruises both were OK.
