My stage 1 at a recent christmas trip on a beach in Victoria. My first real experience of beach / dune driving as we normally stick to rocks / mud.

My stock engined Series III living on the farm where I stored it before I had a garage. It ran like a sewing machine but needs some offroad mutations.
Now I have it in pieces in my garage for the winter getting a rebuild. Among other things it is getting Range Rover axels and a spring-over parabolic conversion welded on them with a gas flowed unleaded head and tubular manifold with SU carb. I'd like to stick an LT77 gearbox in there too. It has the agricultural grade Series III box.

Here's my truck:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It was a '94 300tdi CSW but I've changed a few things since I bought it 3 years ago. Here's the basic spec: - International HS 2.8l TGV (I'll be tuning it when the warrenty runs out in the summer )- Breathed on M8274-50 on an ARB bumper at the front, Husky on a custom mounting at the back - ARB airlockers f&r - Maxi Drive halfshafts f&r - OME 2" lift and custom cranked rear radius/trailing arms - Safety Devices full extrnal cage - 35" 'pedes - All the usual underbody protection, snorkel etc etc. - Rear seats removed, all carpets stripped out... you get the idea I've got lots of jobs on the go at the moment: - The M8274's getting a new drum along with a couple of other tweeks - I'm adjusting the offset of the rims and adding beadlockers - I've just about finished a new, side exit, exhaust - A naughty transfer box is on the way soon - Hopefully I'll have uprated CVs sorted soon That'll be it for now, later this year the gearbox'll need replacing (not sure what I'm going to do there...) and then I'm going to have annother look at the suspension!
