This one has a little plastic doo hickey on it.. and it's is suckin like a mofo.. There is a port right where his hand his there... and that diaphram underneath there... I though maybe those too went together.. but what the fuck do I know.. And then this bad boy... I assumed it ran from the valve cover to the air box... but again... wtfdik.. Please help so I can get this thing out of my yard... Thanks

LOL,,, There are what, three vacuum lines on a '95?
One goes from the valve cover to the air filter housing. One goes from the back of the plenum (IAC valve casting) to the fuel pressure regulator. One goes from the distributor to the top fo the intake. There are two on the passenger (NAS) side of the plenum, one goes to the brake booster, the other to the evap. canister. Finally, there is a hore from the passenger side valve cover to a tee, and thence, to the lower plenum, and to the intake by the throttle. Sheesh! Get 'em OS! Banish to Dweb

Whoops, most of the time, they only have a single vacuum port on the back of the flange...
A '95 should only have the single port on the IAC valve casting.

I was trying to figure out where the hose from the back of the IAV casting was(disapeared over teh months apart..) and think hooked up a different hose to the fuel pressure regulator..hmm! think we hooked up teh valve-cover one to it! oops! yeah! I think that could cause hesitation and popping...huh? gotta look at all tonight and get tha bitch hosed up right! Paul(wondering how many vacuum leaks I have right now!)

Thanks for the info.. And hey if it weren't for the newbie questions then androbus would not have solved the mystery of his popping mall crusier.

Lighten up. I gave you the pics and didn't make any smart-ass comments about keeping track of what came off where. Back in the day, my father would make me sketch what went where before I even got to open the tool box. Then came the SX-70 cameras. By the time I got a digi, I realized that things usually only fit one way and if you pay attention during disassembly, you can put them back together again. Hope I was able to help, but sorry the pic was of a bastard setup with extra ports, etc... Peace, PT

gotta get out on the trails....I woulda gotten to the damn vac lines tomorrow anyway as I knew there was at least one wrong...Nick had hooked the thin coolant line from manifold to one of the vac lines on right side of plenum instead of corner of radiator at first amongst other things...problem with having help from someone who hadn't taken it all apart, huh? Paul
