I noticed Merv mentioned this on another post...Any others from this site that are going...Other than the 90-listers?

I'm going...Only with a camera . I'll be there Friday and Sat. Can't wait to see the look's on your faces when you hit Rotocillo Rapids! O'yea, lest not forget Nemisis II !!

I'm in! I hear the rain "reworked" some trails and now offer new and exciting parts breaking obstacles!

Some how I think that the trip from VA to NM would take me longer then a couple of hours.. By the time I got there it would be over.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to make it this year. I won't have enough vacation time to take the week off to make the drive down there and play.

Make sure you take some good pictures for those of us who can't make it!

I'll be there running Off-braodway on Friday and Roct. Rapids on Saturday.

Tobasco Twister is somewhat harder than last year. More falls.

Rocotillo Rapids is about the same.

Patz. Revenge is will be a killer this year. Nemisis I is a bit harder than last year. Nemisis II is much harder. After last years rains, we had to build Nemisis II from scratch. We rebuilt it with the BIG dawgs in mind. So far, only one person has tried it (100" WB Jeep with 38"), but he broke a front drive shaft. Took us several hours to get him off the fall. There is now a Nemisis III. We have had several of our local big dawgs try this one with no luck (i.e., those that could make Nemisis II last year). There is a bypass on Nemisus III. There is a new 4th 5 foot ledge that was not there last year. Looks hard, but isn't if you take the right line. After Patz. Revenge on Friday, you will find Rocotillo Rapids a cake-walk.

Anybody need a room at the Hampton? I don't know if they're full or not, but I have a room reserved and anyone who wants it is welcome to take over the reservation.

Lemme know... I'll have to call 'em and find out when I have to cancel by in order to not get billed.

Damn, I really want to go to this!!! I know 30 days of leave a year sounds like a lot, but when you have to take leave to go more than a couple hours away even on weekends, that goes fast!!!

Doug, if I can possibly swing the trip, I could use a passenger/spotter who knows these trails!!! I'm gonna work on it!

To be honest, part of the problem is the girlfriend.. she's gonna be pissed if I take a week off to do that but I don't go visit her in Maryland. And believe me, I don't want to lose a chick that wants her own D90 and we have to bring two trucks on the trail because she absolutely must drive the interesting stuff. I get stuck driving the tow rig to and from the trail and then she drives the fun stuff... something wrong here.

But... we'll see.. I might be able to work out a deal!

While I would prefer if you were going.....

I think I could take your room. What nights have you booked for?

Sorry Ron, not gonna trust you with that one..

Besides, she's going to be in LA that week on business. I was trying to get her to meet me out there after her work is done on Thursday, but they are paying the plane tickets and there is no way to change 'em. DAMNIT..

And Merv, I believe the reservation is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, but it might include Wednesday. I'll have to double check.

Damnit, now she's trying to entice me to take my leave time in March when she's on break to go to Hawaii!!! How do you turn that down? We have a friend there so we have a free place to stay, so it'd be cheap. WTF.. Friggin soap opera life. I fell bad complaining about stuff like this, but how the hell do you choose???
