where do you guys get parts?

Anybody got a good mail order or online source for parts?

I need a head gasket and intake/exhaust for a series III ..88

I did a leakdown test and found I had blown a head gasket...

Thanks

www.thatchedroofgarage.com

By far the best prices and service. You call you get to talk to the owner (David Gage). He will tell you what is genuine, what is OEM, and when you can get by with knockoffs. Only downside is that he does not have everything in stock like the huge guys. Upside is he will always make it right and he goes the extra mile to make something work out. He has even sent me used parts free when I have been in a bind.

If he does not have it and you are in a hurry, try www.britishpacific.com or www.roversnorth.com

RN has everything but the prices are a rip off.

BP's prices are better but some of there stuff that is non genuine is not to OEM standards.

There are others but I either avoid them or they have limited specialties. 95% of my series stuff comes from David Gage.

It's hard to beat Nathan Crabtree's prices. His web site is not much, but his service is first rate.

Just E-mail him you needs, He will get right back to ya.

Nathan is great for disco/RR/D90 but he has very limited series stuff.

95% of my disco/rangie stuff comes from him.

This place is very good, and they take international orders.

I had horrible luck with mohammed at europarts
I waited on a set of springs for a couple months, then when they finally arrived, they were the wrong set!
I know this may be a isolated incident, but I will never buy from him again because of it.

I've had good luck with Aaron auto, parts bin, and yesterday I placed an order with Nathan Crabtree. Great guy, and good prices, I'll defintely buy from him again.

Who is a good UK source for 1-ton CVs, and what are the part #'s on those?

Thanks,
