East coast twist-off?

"and an east coast version of the Twist Off Competition for those extreme off roaders!"

From www.eastcoastrover.com website in reference to the may 24-26 event.

Be pretty cool if it was at the hope expedition center. The rest of the event sounded a bit but a twist-off without a 4 day drive

So who is going to be there.

Ron

From the brief details it sounds like a rally just trying to attach a twist off image. Sounds more like a fun event than an actual competition to evaluate suspension mods...come drive in the mud to see your rig flex?

Not as bad as it would suck if the sucking stops... I hear that happens when you get married.. I might as well be a man. Damn what did I do to myself this time... Don't think a locker or a winch will get me out of this one..

Unfortunately, that wench has a locker on you and you're stuck! I know, what a horrible thing!

Here's to hoping that she sucks like a Hoover and serves Guinness by the gallon!

BTW- an east coast twist off is a good idea, what do you guys think about something at Tellico or Monteagle perhaps, what is the interest level for an event/competition like that?

I'm highly interested in coming down to Tellico. I don't really know if I care to spend a day doing ramp tests and testing stuff for a competition but I want to come down and wheel that place. Myself and some others have been talking about coming down this spring sometime.

I am trying to get some extra time around the Uwharrie Safari in April to go to tellico. Say a mon/tues after the safari. That would be like the 29th and 30th or so.

Cant do it during the week. Bag the Safari, especially if you are looking for challenging terrain and go to Tellico instead.
