shocks
Hi,
I'am Ced out of Belgium. I have a D-90 Td5 of 2003 which is comp. prepared. But, since I have an external + internal + a rear winch and bridges on the roof, my car becomes to heavy in handling. So, I already orderd som King Springs, but I'am still looking for some good shockers for a 2" lifted car. I had in mind Koni or OME, but what about Rancho............... Or, are ther even better opinions. all those shocks will work and there are plenty of others. I personally like rancho because they are relatively cheap and good quality and come in extended lengths. The adjustable shckos aren't all that much more either. Any of those sshocks will work. The OME will work great with a 2 inch lift but if you ever go for more or want some more downtravel then the 9012 will work great from rancho. There are plent of people who have run bilstiens and liked them. Not over sure about koni they are more of a sports shock here in the US. There are lots of options and if you search the website some you'll see there are plenty of posts about shocks. Also try d-90.com and discoweb.org for some more comparisons

2nd on the Bilsteins, I have the Rancho 9000 but the Bs are gas charged, so you get a bit of a boost for lift. I know of three different sets on Rovers, all seem to be happy campers.

I wouldn't use rancho. A friend had them on the rear of his SI/RR hybrid and snapped an eye off each shock on one trip.
I am happy with the bilsteins on my 110, but remember that they are single wall (not double like most others), so if you dent them offroad that is it.

We've snapped Bilstiens before too.
Ome are good for the the price, over here in Aus they are quite cheap compared to Koni / Bilstien, but non rebuildable. We have Konis on my Dads County, they are great and adjustable. Maybe look to but some Toyota LC 80 long front shocks, and raise your towers, That way you will have the extra lenght. Dave.

What a cool pic! Country looks beatiful. IMO, Bilstiens are not the best for the cash. I am sold on FOX. I don't know if you can get them over there, though.

I would recommend judging by the mods you have listed the 2.0 x 7/8 Remote Reservoir. Let me know if you need more info.
