Holy Crap Batman!!! Those are some serious tires. You only need about 10 more inches of lift now. How much does one of those suckers weigh?

I really dont know. I was that excited obout putting them on I didnt take much notice. Iv heard that they weigh over 110lb mounted on steel rims but they didnt feel that heavy. I would guess about 90lb but I will pull one off and weigh it. I got pull them off to cut the guards anyway.

Right awn my brotha'! Lookin' killer. Time to get happy with the sawzall!

Good news...I have access to a nice didgi camera from work now. Pic's this weekend.

BTW, the 42x15x16.5 weighs in at 104# each. Couple that with a TR 16.5" beadlock and I'm close to 140#'s each!

Making temporary wheel spacers made today. (basically just a ring of steel 2.5in wide x 3/8 that will sit against the hub on the outside of the studs then weld some nuts onto the backs of 2.5in long bolts to extend the studs so I can bolt the wheels on)Hopefully with this setup I will be able to idle up the ramp etc to check clearance before I commit and get some proper spacers made.

At the moment the tyres are about 1/4 in from touching the spring towers so I carnt drive the thing anywhere. So Ill do the temp spacers and then cut the guards to the max and see how it goes and then look at suspension height after that. This thing will be as low as I can get it.

Then I will get out there, flog crap out of it and bust some parts (like the good ol' 10 spline days) It will be really interesting to see how they go.

Then more money!! Throw in the TF727 auto, do a part time on the LT230, Maxi 4.3:1 low gears and some 5.38 diffs. And by this stage I will be looking for some D60s and wishing I had gone with 16.5in wheels (not that there are any D60s fronts in Oz anyway)

But anyway its gonna be fun and it will be a bitch'n ride down the mall
