A bronco with a rover frame....hmm...I thought that all early model broncos came with a ford 9" rear and a 44 front. What did it have under that. I would personally do some other mods first, if that is your axle set up. Let us know how the mods turn out. What size tire are you going to run? Going to run a James Duff Bronco lift kit???

Oh yeah almost forgot. Do they make pre made weld on axle brackets kits for your suspension set up like they do for J**p TJs???

well i bought this truck second hand from a guy that i know. what he had was a 9"/D44 in in with a kick ass air suspension setup and 35" MTs.

im going more extreme with the truck, and am going to run a HP D60 in front, and a D70 in back, both shaved and welded. for suspension i am going with a custom coil setup in the front using a secret coil spring that i dont know if it will work yet or a set of 5.5" lift BC Broncos front coils. rear will be leafs to start, sprung over, and eventually coils.

tires and wheels to start with are going to be hummer beadlocks with 37x12.5R16.5 Radial hummer tires. you know the previous MT/R.

will keep everyone updated!

If you have four coils, why would you take the time to weld on leaf spring mounts, if you are planning on going the coil route anyways???? Are you going to have Jason of Twisted Customs re-dish the wheel for backspacing? Are they the Military beadlocks with the magnesium run flats? Have you already purchased all of these things, or are you still hunting???

im only running coils in the front because i really dont want to have to deal with fabbing up a whole rear link system for this summer. i want the truck to be ready to wheel by the end of june, and i still have a lot of work to do.

no im keeping the standard 8" backspacing because i am keeping the axles full width and want it to be *somewhat* narrow.

yep military beadlocks with the mag runflats. i havent bought the stuff yet but i know where i am going to buy it all from and should order it this week. i am just waiting on payment for some stuff that i sold.

I dunno' 9v...I mean, why would you want to destroy such a nice Serries Rover. Don't you know that they are VERY valuable collectors items? If I were you I would bring back that one, and then buy youself a good used TJ or FJ.

Yes a very significant piece of history I might add! If I were you I'd find a clapped out NAS spec D90 and cut that up...You'd be way ahead in the long run...

No way man...Your into this game big time...It will only lead you down the path ruin via wrenching, beer and garages. Soon you will be spending all of your tuition on 'gotta' have' axles, tires and lockers...Your mechanical skills will improve to the point where you decide that you'd rather do something you "like" to do rather than pursue that degree in **, because the degree has no 'real-world' value. Then you'll wake up when your my age and realize that the Atlas XI sitting in your single wide has to be sold to pay for diapers for one of your six kids...

Yes it's a slippery slope for sure.

O'hhhh Grasshopper...You do have a lot to learn don't you? When you can grab the pebble from my hand, you will be wise and mature...Then you will realize there is never "out of the way" on anything related to four tires on rocks...Better, more, and bitchen will always haunt you as you continue down this path....Pursute of Mech Eng. degrees' will only get in the way of your dreams...Quit now while you still can Grasshopper...
