I want to use an Art Carr shifter with the 4HP22 transmission. I spoke to Allan at Art Carr and he thought the shifter for the 700R4 would work, and he also thought someone from this board had done this. I searched but didn't get any hits.
Anyone out there used one of these?

Hi,

never done it but I would like to know how if you suss it, shifters are getting harder to come by and we use quite a few for Defender auto conversions,

If anyone has done it, my money is on RockRover and his new buggy he's building.

Dave, Thanks for replying, I'm also installing the auto in a Defender. I've messed up my knees enough that I can't manage the clutch and then walking afterward.

Mad, Hopefully Rockrover will see this and reply.
