Another Newbie to be initiated. I just recently found the site, and what a relief. I spent nearly two hours last night tooling around the posts! One of my biggest pet peeves is when I hear "you can't do that to/on/with/for a rover". It seems that most of you don't take no for an answer either. I only hope that I will be able to contribute something to the board once and a while.
Unfortunately, I don't have very many action shots of my rig, (photography is not my wife's strong suit) but hopefully I will have some from last weeks trip to Moab. My rig is an 89 Rangie with mostly Rockware fabrications/bolt ons, with the obligatory OME springs and longer droop. My 235's look puny compared to all your stuff, but oh well. We primarily use the vehicle for backcountry camping excursions, not crawlin. I am looking in to a bracket for a york, or where I could put it, so if anyone has some suggestions, I would appreciate it. I am also looking for a higher output alternator that is a bolt in or simple fab job.

The York is easy. Just get a york (or a box the same size if you havent got it already) And start throwing it around the engine bay to see if it will fit anywhere. Make shre the hood still closes when your done though. If the belts line up then its a bonus. And then start welding.
Betcha carnt fit it in there. A york is a big ass compressor. You might have a chance with a Sanden rotary compressor os something similar. But I have been wrong before. Welcome Newbie Sam

I assume it has A/C already. Is the a/c comp. mounted low on the motor on the left hand side (your drivers side). About the only place I know a york will fir is there. Then move your ac comp to above the centre of your motor (to the left of the alternator) Ive seen them mounted there.
Easier just to ditch the air con. I did. Sam
