Angry My New Front Bumper pix! Part DUO!

Well I hope everyone had an awesome thankgiving. It's time to start up the thread again and show you my progress.

Marking location for axle at 110. Getting an idea of how the new coilies will look.

Setting up location for the fuel cell and figuring out top coil location.

I plan on putting a rear bung on the fuel cell for extreme angles up hill.

Structure for the shock mounts being formed.

Here ya go. That was a joke started from way back. So ya nothing to do with my front bumper. But just to make the thread legit.

Good to see you back Scott. So I take it this means we'll be running with ya out on the Hammers this weekend? Bring something warm it looks a bit breezy back there with the new setup.

The new third link 10inches longer. We'll set the jig to the side once complete so we can mass produce these. Mention pirate for a discount! J.K.!!!

On Rover ready for final welds.

Looks much better! Nice job and thanks for coming back.

On a related note, why do people get rid of the rover rear ball joint? Makes no sense to me. I have wheeled the piss out of mine stretched 11in or so and it has held longer than all the heims on the front.

Your right they do hold up well and I've never seen one fail either.
Here is a view from the back with brake lines and air lines. and yes still single shear at the moment.

Here is the new stance. I'll tub the front wheel wells for better clearance this Saturday and grab the plasma and put in the brake lights etc..

fuel lines, air tank going in, fuel cell being finished yada yada.. I'll be ready to try it out this Sunday.

If you're going to all of this work to back-half it...why not loose the huge over hang?

Fuel cell area? It's shorter then the factory length. I'll utilizing a 3rd seat in the Rover so the fuel cell goes on the back half along with an air tank.
Rear bumper fyi is 40inch off the ground. When I'm done the truck will be street legal and be driven out to the trails. (yes mud flaps fenders.... Maybe temp removable style. Not sure yet)

Yeah, I guess you're right. We do live in America, and I would fight to the death for the right to say whatever he wants. I guess I just have an attitude that I don't want people equating that truck with PBB. Live and let live...ok, I'll go with that.

Side view of the new fuel cell.

View of the rear of fuel cell fully plumbed. If you look closely you can see the 3rd seat location. Between the 3rd seat and fuel cell is the onboard air tank. Also the new rear bung.
