FJ60 with ZJ engine/tranny?

Does anyone know if a 5.2L engine and auto trans from a 98 Jeep ZJ would swap into a FJ60? Ive always wanted an FJ60 and I just happen to have an engine and trans with Atlas T-case from a 98 Grand Cherokee. Exploring my options.

Depends where here is, if its California then I am and your not.

If your referring to the occasional toyota vs jeep stuff. You should check out my build thread on the Avalanche, lol. Ford parts in my Chevy to make things how I want em.

So whats the verdict?

An FJ60 is a Land Cruiser made by Toyota.

There is a Toyota Land Cruiser Forum.

This is the Land Rover Forum

Get it?

Hmm. . . this caught my eye in the LR forum.

To answer your question. No. The drivetrain that you have listed requires a centered rear axle and the FJ60 has a passenger offset rear axle. Obviously you can change to something like a 14 bolt to get a centered rear axle and then run it just fine.

Thanks for the response. I have a new Currie front 9 inch axle and a junkyard 9 inch rear.

Mod mind moving this to the correct forum.
