Ran Werock again, this time I came back with stickys, finished 2nd, punched a hole in the oil pan on the next to last run, had to walk the gate and take a 40. Roll happened Friday night, it hit hard when I tried to save it, nothing broke finished finished the course with a 27.

Congrats on blipping the throttle to avoid rollover, shame it didn't work but you landed on 4 wheels yet!
Video doesn't make justice and everything looks flatter than it is me thinks...??
..how off camber was that spot really?
More footage from another angle would be interesting.

Raced ECORS race last weekend in Durhamtown, GA. Enjoyed the Gofast racing! Finished 9th out of 13, blew a soup can hole in the front pass tire on the first lap, battled ignition / fuel problems throughout race, slid off track on the 6th lap into a tree and twisted high steer arm. No reverse so tranny got toasted as well. 100+ temps for a 1:00 pm race are hard on the vehicle and driver. Werock this weekend so I’ve pulled / pulling a lot of late nights to get it back together.

This rig is crying out for tripple bypass shocks and a crack at KOH

My favourite Rover buggy and the inspiration for my own build. Well done on such a cool looking truck...and the best part is you're keen as fawk to use it

Brought home the bacon last weekend at Werock, only got to run 6 of the 8 courses, on the 6th course computer sh*t the bed at the first gate, took 30 mins of break down time swapped computers and relays. Towards the end of the 7th course, I broke the rear output shaft, would have tried the last coures in front wheel drive if I had needed to, walked the gate and took the 40. Coilovers are on the way, getting ready for the next Gofast race. Looking for an extra 14CUX (pre 1995 computer), if anybody has any extra....

Any 14 CUX ECU for a 3.9 or 4.2 will do the job.
3.5's ones are different, but I don't think 3.5 efi engines are that common over there anyways.

Had to take some time off for those of you who do not know me we had twin girls in December of 2011, sadly one passed away in August of 2012, as a result of miss diagnosed condition / negligence by her pediatrician. I thought about selling everything, felt selfish for all the time I spent up to till August of 2012 competing, modifying, and repairing instead of spending more time with the girls, it has taught me to cherish every moment with family and friends as we are not guaranteed tomorrow. After a lot of encouragement from my wife, family, and friends I got back in the drivers seat for the first Dirt Riot race of the year. Very pleased with the go faster mods made to the vehicle back in July of 2012, and glad that all I had to do was wash it off after the race.

So sorry to hear that. Can't begin to imagine your pain.

Well cr@p.
Sorry to hear about your loss.

Hopefully getting back behind the wheel will help keeping bad thoughts at bay...race on!

I can't imagine what it would be be like to lose any of my clan (all 4 of the little darlings) especially in the circumstances you describe, but you still have another daughter who'll want to go out racing with her dad when she's older, which is always something to see the positive in.

Congratulations on your competative return!!!
