Face of the enemy

this is from the year 2000
http://www.zoominfo.com/people/Scham..._19840164.aspx

The PEER and the CSNC websites are off line. I wonder if there is a correlation between this new news and a sudden disappearance of these websites?

I am attaching the picture in case this link gets.........................lost

Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) is a national alliance of local state and federal resource professionals. PEER’s environmental work is solely directed by the needs of its members. As a consequence, we have the distinct honor of serving resource professionals who daily cast profiles in courage in cubicles across the country.

Public employees are a unique force working for environmental enforcement. In the ever-changing tide of political leadership, these front-line employees stand as defenders of the public interest within their agencies and as the first line of defense against the exploitation and pollution of our environment. Their unmatched technical knowledge, long-term service and proven experiences make these professionals a credible voice for meaningful reform.

PEER works nation-wide with government scientists, land managers, environmental law enforcement agents, field specialists and other resource professionals committed to responsible management of America’s public resources. Resource employees in government agencies have unique responsibilities as stewards of the environment. PEER supports those who are courageous and idealistic enough to seek a higher standard of environmental ethics and scientific integrity within their agency. Our constituency represents one of the most crucial and viable untapped resources in the conservation movement.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't PEER involved in the Carnegie BS?

PEER, CBD, CSNC are all orgs Karen is closely involved in. Look that over and you will find her in more places in anti OHV than you would ever think. She works with Lisa Belenky from CBD on many lawsuits.

Surprise
Carnegie
OHMVR
Daphne Greene
Clear Creek
Rubicon
Rock Creek
Logging on the Divide
Sierra Cascades dialog
Red Rock
Region 5 USFS and the State Water Board
Forest Service planning in California
and the list goes on.

Center for Biological Diversity
Known as ‘nature’s legal eagles,’ the Center for Biological Diversity works through science, law, and creative media to secure a future for all species, great or small, hovering on the brink of extinction. Formed in 1989, the Center’s innovation was to systematically and ambitiously use biological data, legal expertise, and the citizen petition provision of the powerful Endangered Species Act to obtain sweeping, legally binding new protections for animals, plants, and their habitat. Today, the Center is responsible for protecting more species of wildlife under the Endangered Species Act than any other organization. They are currently best known for petitioning to protect the polar bear from the effects of global warming and also work extensively on behalf of many imperiled species in California.

Center for Sierra Nevada Conservation
Since 1986 the Center for Sierra Nevada Conservation (CSNC) has been a tireless voice for sound management of our public lands and wise government land use policies. From recreation to private forestry practices, ecosystem management on our public lands to the El Dorado County General Plan, CSNC members have worked countless hours to make sure that environmental values are not forgotten by land managers and politicians. They work with other interested parties on stakeholder groups, make official comments on environmental impact reports and when all else fails, file lawsuits to ensure that environmental laws are not violated.
I would not be surprised to hear her involved somehow behind the scenes in JV.

I know she had some interest in doing some dozer work very recently.

Is that too personal?? Well this is personal to me. I love these trails, they are my church.

We can knit pick her property just as she does our PUBLIC LANDS.

I can guarantee that some of her property was "built" illegally.

I declare Karen's property a wetland. She will have to bulldoze it down if that happens.

Halfmoon Bay did that to an undeveloped property, the developer tried to develop and it had been declared a wetland. Turned out HMB had a bit of a hand in re directing of water which turned it into a Wetland.

He sued the city, won and bankrupt the city
