NC - new/proposed Cape Lookout National Seashore ORV Management Plan

Earlier this week, a new ORV management plan for Cape Lookout National Seashore (with alternatives) was released.

Comments are needed to guide these important changes! They are taking comments until midnight on July 20, 2012.

Comments in any format (hard copy or electronic) submitted on behalf of others will not be accepted. This means clubs can't send a single letter representing their membership, individuals need to send it themselves. These Alternatives are just Drafts at this time. We all have the opportunity to suggest changes to these drafts or even suggest an entire new one or two... We can hope that, after the public comment period ends, the NPS will consider our recommendations and make some changes, then the Alternatives will be republished and opened back up for comment.
