What about a flyer that included all outdoor recreation to hand out

How many other sports or out door actives besides off-road are going to be affected by all of these trail's being closed ? It cant be just us is it ? What about hiking , biking , fishing , rafting , horseback riding, camping . Are there any flyer's that that we could hand out about all the trail's and land being closed ? It would need to include all different kinds of out door actives so more people would join with us. It would also need " what to do about it and Who to contact" info.
Is it already being done ? Then where could i find it ? If not who could make one of these and post it for everyone to copy ?
I try to talk to people about this, but it all gets jumbled in my head . If i had a bunch flyer's i could hand them out , put them in store's....

What do you think ?

Thanks James

Good idea.
Start typing a draft. We'll pitch in.

I'd write one for you, but I'm busy right now responding to all of my comments in the Johnson Valley FEIS.

cheers!
Shawn

Yep, make a draft, post it up. I have a printer and cute kids to hand it out. Make sure you list all the agencies against people enjoying the great outdoors.

Talking

If I knew how to do something like this I would . I wouldn't be good at creating something like this , in fact my wife had to help me spell most of the big words in my first post .

LOL! Maybe the BRC can publish a one page letter that covers all the bases, that the people can print and distribute. I talked to Don about some kind of paper to hand out that specified how many trails and destinations that have been closed in the name of conservation. He also said there is nothing that shows all the trails that have been closed. Sometimes I think a map with all the closed trails over the last 20 years would be an extreme eye opener. Or even a map that shows red areas that have been closed, half of Cali would be red on that map.

I know how difficult it would be to cram all the information on one page but maybe some useful link and a broad over site of what is at stake here.
