California Burning

Lock up all the roads and trails, prevent multiple-use sustained yield access, mechanical harvesting and thinning of our forests and we get this . . . http://inciweb.org/state/5/

Any damage that might be caused by some vehicles traveling on historically used forest roads and trails, pales in comparison to this stuff . . .

Old news but it still pisses me off!!!

Yea, it makes me crazy mad.. I have advocated trying to get trails punched in using the reasoning that they would double as fire breaks. So far no dice.

It is almost impossible to reason with the eco-tards. As long as it is a naturally occurring fire I think they love it.

No reasoning, Big changes in agencies involved needed, current lawsuits and smart voting are THE last hope!!! IMHO . . .

King,

There is another way. And I am using it to my full advantage.

A list of watersheds destroyed in the last two years because of eco-ism. The Wallow fire last year and the Whitewater-Baldy Complex Fire this year.

San Francisco Watershed
Eagle Creek Watershed
Bonita Creek Watershed
Gila Watershed

And a whole host of other smaller watersheds that feed the Colorado River here in the West.

I sat on a group of people who supported the efforts of the eco's and walked away almost a year ago. I warned them of what was going to happen. They laughed and everything I predicted came true. Now I am being asked to come back with a formal written apology from the group and one of them is a former BLM Employee. The USFS here is now listening too.

Many of these members "were" former supporters of CBD, The Wilderness Society, The Great Old Broads for Wilderness, and a whole host of others. They now see the errors of their ways and are getting beat up by the locals who are now suffering.

Like I predicted before, The Hammer Blows are falling.
