Poster Size Maps

We have printed maps of each alternative...A, B, C, D. They are roughly 4 feet by 3 feet.

Is there any interest in a map viewing party...you can see all the maps and all your routes on a wall and actually touch 'em.

If there's enough interest....we'll have a map viewing party at Round Table or something....or even the Marshall Room if that's possible.

What about having them at Sluice Sally's letter writing party?

I spent 6-7 hours going over the Differance in the maps of A and D on Sat. My brain started to hurt real bad . I was looking for all the roads that were loop roads on map "A" that have been turned into in and out roads on map "D". And started a list of the FS road#s that have been turned into In & out trails. Also am looking at the roads that will not interfear with Hikers. We need to get some kind if list of trail names and FS road numbers. so people can get more informed for letter writing. I'll try and get back to it tonight.

EDIT: I made my own large maps to make it easyer to see the extent of the damage. The poster Idea is a good one

Does one of your local printers have it on file? If so I will call them have them printed and shipped to me down in the Concord area for Thursday nights meeting.

You could down load the map file to a disk and have the map made up. My maps are in 6 8.5x11 sheets taped together

I have printed up a couple of hundred "Don't Close our Trails" leaflets for the Pleasant Hill meeting. That way FS will have an idea as to who is who.

Good luck tonight ladies and Gents.
