Ohv Event...volunteers Needed...info Here

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED NOW...

What you'll be asked to do:

4-6 sign in people that are adults...It will take 2-3 minutes to process each person
2-3 people grouping the protestors in teams of 10 and 20...set a lead
4 people standing at the maps helping explain MAP A vs MAP D to people
1 person running the petition table
Randy has a plan for writing letters and that is going to take some bodies
I'll be greeting the groups and dispatching...going over rules and what if's etc
We'll need to have someone speaking when needed on the PA/playing music
We'll have water bottles to hand out
We'll have some signs to distribute

And...we can't ask everyone to do this all day without a break or a substitue. So...for this to go off well I need more help. PLEASE...say you'll help even for a couple hours. Its not hard work...

Anyone who can help is more than welcome... we may wave some signs outside the fairgrounds, if Marlon needs the people, but my focus otherwise is the letters.

It would be great to learn some of the rhetoric before participating in the event,
something more sophisticated and convincing then "I want to wheel!".
I am sorry, English is not my native language, so I am very bad at inventing slogans, the more ideas you post, the better.

Also, what do you make signs of, how big ? I just never made one, sorry.

Yes...meeting is Sunday the 19th from 1-3PM...Rally the 26th. A few Pizzas will be covered by me too!!

Yeah...sorry you asked that earlier. I definitely want the maps for the event. I'd like a total of 3 Map A's and 3 map D's so more people can see at one time. They'll be on tables 8' fold out tables.

Anyone that can provide more of the huge version of these maps email me.

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!!

I just want to thank all the people that have volunteered to take a couple hours out of their day this Sunday to help me make this event run smoothly. Without your support it simply wouldn't happen.

I spent a good deal of time yesterday and today preparing for the meeting so I will not be wasting anyone's time. I hate meeting that have no purpose and accomplish nothing. Its a pet peeve of mine. That will not be the case tomorrow. You all should leave we good understanding of the flow of the event, what you'll be doing and how to do it....and hopefully get to know some new friends.

To answer for Rick,

Will will DEFINATLEY have the maps there. We are gonna use them at this Monday's workshop, and then Rick's gonna bring them up for the Rally....
