Mono County Board of Supervisors Fighting Back
Hot of a BRC action alert email -
"And guess who is leading the way? Inyo County! On September 9, 2008, the Inyo County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed a resolution asking Boxer and McKeon to drop the outdated and inflexible concept of Wilderness and step into the 21st Century with a modern management concept called Semi - Primitive Roaded and Roadless Backcountry Recreation Designation. " There's more to the email then just this snippet but this interests me the most. Now from a reply email from the board of Supervisors I was told that Mono County Board of Supervisors and the Mammoth Town Council still support the Mckeon Wilderness Bill If you enjoy vacationing and riding the trails please call them and tell them not to support this bill. Thanks, Philip
