Actually, the status is:
California has two lobbyists in Sacramento funded by membership based organizations: Cal4Wheel, American Sand Association, AMA D-36 and D-37, Friends of Oceano Dunes, San Diego Off Road Coalition, Cal-Nevada Snowmobile Association, ORBA and someone I am forgetting.... Nationally, ASA has a DC based lobbyist as does national snowmobile association. BRC has been in partnership with the snowmobile association in the past. In addition, AMA maintains a DC lobbyist as does Motorcycle Industry Council. MIC in part funds Americans for Responsible Recreation Access (http://www.arra-access.com). SEMA also has a lobbyist presence in DC and works with OHV interests.
