***The return of "Czar" Turner!


***Land Grabber John Turner may be named "Czar" !!!


The rumor mill churns nonstop in Washington, DC regarding possible
nominations to the new Bush Administration. There have been many good
people named to top posts, who will protect private property rights and
restore access to federal lands.


*** HOWEVER ***

The latest is that Land Grabber John Turner may be named "Czar" of all
environmental policy! He is being considered for Chairman of the
influential President's Council on Environmental Quality - called CEQ.

From that office, he could meddle in all sorts of issues dealing with
water, air quality, and land use regulations.

Or, he may be named to a spot in the Interior Department, from which he
would lead the enviro attack against Interior Secretary Gale Norton and all
land owners.

Turner is former Director of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service
under Presidents Bush Sr. and Clinton. His "accomplishments" include
listing the Northern Spotted Owl as an endangered species using bad
scientific data, reintroducing wolves into farming and ranching areas, and
massive increases in land acquisition funding.

He then became President of the Conservation Fund. While there, he led a
sneak attack on property owners living near Antietam Battlefield National
Park, attempting to have their land condemned.

He forced a family out of their home on Metinic Island, Maine because it
was bird habitat, and then allowed government agents to purchase and occupy
that same home as a summer retreat!

The Conservation Fund's newsletter, called Common Ground, has also
repeatedly published "hit lists" of Republicans targeted for defeat by the
Sierra Club and other leftwing groups.

HOW could such a Land Grabbing Liberal be considered for a top post???

BECAUSE Turner is a personal friend and fly-fishing buddy of Vice
President Dick Cheney!

Turner is attempting to have himself named Czar and to lead a three person
Land Grabbing Team. Here are the other two members of the "Turner Team:"


MICHAEL BRENNAN -

Turner wants his right-hand man, Michael Brennan, to join him by Brennan
being named to CEQ with Turner, or Brennan being named the Interior
Department's Solicitor, which means the top lawyer for the Department.

Michael Brennan was trained in environmental law at the notoriously
leftwing law school at the University of Oregon, from which he graduated.
The University of Oregon is located in "The People's Republic of Eugene",
Oregon.

Just take a look at Brennan's biography on the website of Holland and Hart,
the law firm where he currently works, in Jackson, Wyoming - Turner's home
town. The address is www.hollandhart.com.

Holland and Hart reports that "heading our ESA group is Michael Brennan,
Executive Assistant to the Director (John Turner) of the U. S. Fish and
Wildlife Service during the Bush administration." It continues:

"Mr. Brennan has broad experience with all aspects of the Endangered
Species Act. While at the Department of the Interior, Mr. Brennan was the
personal representative of and the principal advisor to the Director (John
Turner) of the Fish and Wildlife Service.

He was responsible for policy and regulatory development and for management
and resolution of numerous high profile and highly complex conflicts
arising under the Endangered Species Act and other authorities of the
Department."

These 'highly complex conflicts' included listing the Northern Spotted Owl
based on faulty science, and then ignoring the damage to families and
communities!!!

Brennan and his law firm have kept their close connections to Turner for
the past several years. The Holland and Hart law firm is a member of the
Corporate Council of the Conservation Fund, the controversial land
acquisition trust fund whose CEO is John Turner.

MIKE HAYDEN - third member of the "Turner Team."

Mike Hayden is a former Governor of Kansas, best known for ramming through
a tax increase. He worked with Turner as the Assistant Secretary for Fish,
Wildlife and Parks at the Interior Department.

His primary claim to fame is his longtime membership in the League of
Conservation Voters (LCV). He was Chairman and a longtime Board member at
LCV.

LCV spends 95% to 98% of its money attacking Republicans who support
private property rights. Hayden is a former Republican Governor of Kansas,
who helps to direct these attacks as an LCV Board member - so try to figure
that one out.

Here is part of a letter from a longtime Fish and Wildlife Service employee
who worked under the "Turner Team" of Turner, Brennan and Hayden. His
description of Turner:

"He spent all of his time kissing up to the liberal crowd to list more
species. He was the darling of the animal rights groups here because of
his commitment to domestic listings and then inserting those species
wherever possible to give the Federal government more say. Spotted owl,
red wolf, grizzly, and wolf debacles are all traceable to Turner."


ACTION ITEMS:

yet.

Please DO NOT put Americas Rights and Freedoms at stake. DO NOT put John Turner, or any members of the Turner Team in any position to undermine the sovereignty of America. Allow the Norton Team to choose their own members. This is a vital step in Preserving the American Peoples Rights! Support The Norton Team! NO TURNER TEAM!!!

I sent one the white house though it might not be as good as yours I at least sent one.I do not support John Turner for consideration as Czar. He has proven to not support the access to public land by the public. I support Interior Secretary Gale Norton and Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman's ability to choose their own people without Turner.
