Here is the latest from the Washington, DC rumor mill regarding liberal

Land Grabber John Turner. Turner was Director of the United States Fish

and Wildlife Service during the Clinton and Bush Sr. administrations. His

top priorities were to list more endangered species, convert private
property
to government control, and reintroduce wolves into ranching and
farming
areas.

***** Despite being a personal friend and fly-fishing buddy of Vice
President Dick Cheney, Turner may be losing out in his bid for power. It
has been several weeks now, and Turner has still not secured a spot. *****

Turner is STILL attempting to force his way in to the Interior Department

so that he can stop Gale Norton from protecting private property rights.

He is STILL attempting to become the "Czar" of all environmental policy

and stop Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman's efforts to restore access to

the 58 million acre Forest Service Land Lockup.

HERE IS JOHN TURNER'S NEXT STEP !!!

Even as he plots his own return to power, Turner is also promoting his

right-hand man to be the Interior Department's Solicitor, which means the

top lawyer for the Department.

That person is Michael Brennan. He is John Turner's protege, and he is
a
DISASTER!!!

Michael Brennan was trained in environmental law at the notoriously
leftwing
law school at the University of Oregon, where he graduated. The
University
of Oregon is located in "The People's Republic of Eugene",
Oregon.

After a few years in private practice, he joined the Fish and Wildlife

Service as Turner's right hand man in 1989. He worked hand in hand with

Turner for four years, and like Turner, he was welcomed to stay by the

Clinton Administration in 1993.

And how close is he with Turner? How much did Michael Brennan have to do

with the Turner disasters such as accelerating endangered species listings,

massive land acquisition, budget busting spending increases, and wolf
reintroduction?
A LOT!!!

Just take a look at his biography on the website of Holland and Hart, the

law firm where he currently works, in Jackson, Wyoming - Turner's home

town. The address is www.hollandhart.com.

Holland and Hart reports that "heading our ESA group is Michael Brennan,

Executive Assistant to the Director (John Turner) of the U. S. Fish and

Wildlife Service during the Bush administration."

"Mr. Brennan has broad experience with all aspects of the Endangered
Species
Act" his bio begins. You betcha he does! Do you wonder how many
families
he drove off their land by listing an endangered species on their
land,
driving down the property value, and forcing them out of business?

If there is any doubt about his connection and joint culpability with Land

Grabber John Turner, here is more from his biography:

"While at the Department of the Interior, Mr. Brennan was the personal

representative of and the principal advisor to the Director (John Turner)

of the Fish and Wildlife Service."

"He was responsible for policy and regulatory development and for
management
and resolution of numerous high profile and highly complex
conflicts arising
under the Endangered Species Act and other authorities of
the Department."

These 'highly complex conflicts' included listing the Northern Spotted Owl

based on faulty science, and then ignoring the damage to families and
communities.

He and his law firm have kept their close connections to Turner for the

past several years.

The Holland and Hart law firm is a member of the Corporate Council of the

Conservation Fund, the controversial land acquisition trust fund whose CEO

is John Turner.

So there you have it, the Turner/Brennan team, STILL attempting to
undermine
Gale Norton, override Ann Veneman, and ignore President Bush's
agenda of
private property rights and access to federal lands.

You have already won twice with Norton and Veneman!

own people WITHOUT meddling from Land Grabbers John Turner and Michael
