Post Drilling... It's a beatiful thing.

You people that has voted NO for drilling ANWR. Have any of you ever been there? You should hold your vote till you know what you are talking about. All you people that have voted "no" should be put in a helicopter and droped off for 3 days, and then we would see how you would vote. It sure aint the Red Wood Forest!

Well Berzerker, you used the same line - saying that you have been there, and since we hadn't, we don't know what we are talking about....

So you can say it, but he can't? Funny

Berzerker, Birfield King, come on, attacking each other on this post as well as the other really sucks.

You know, "he started it" sounds really lame here, but is pretty fitting. I'm tired of dealing with it as well.

I'm pretty sure your both tired of it, as well as everyone else that reads the land use section. Theres a place to post what ever you want and call names a cry about what other people are doing... L/U is not the section for it, most of the people in here are trying to help out and actually find information, as well as opinions (on the topics at hand, not on who is ahead in the latest pissing contest ). Please refrain from wasting everyone's valuable time time trying to sort through all the ....

We now return you to your regularly scheduled topic

IMHO Yellowsub, if it is such a problem, you should have deleted the inflamatory posts they made from the start. I came here to discuss the topic, and it is obvious some came looking for a fight.

You're the moderator - if you want it clean then clean it up. Plain & simple.

...For what it's worth, Mr. Assassin is 100% correct. ...And although (here I go ) I've never been there, I have seen photos other than the Eco-Nazi propaganda, and ... well, ANWR is kinda a wasteland. It's subarctic tundra... Which is useful for ... not much.

...But we gotta be careful... Don't wanna upset the Porcupine Caribou herds... Bahahaha. We want that oil too. The pipeline will run right through the Yukon.

...It's a win-win situation... (Unless you're a caribou )

No no NO! We must protect all species of plants and animals, even though they may serve no purpose what-so-ever

I laugh at the people who want to put a "freeze frame" on time, and think nothing is supposed to die off and new thing replace it...

The same goober would have probably tried to save the dinosaurs if it were possible, while completely ignoring the future ramifications on the smaller animals that thrived after the big ones were gone

What, because they serve no direct purpose to you that means they don't matter? Who is to decide what purpose they serve? Just because they aren't putting money into your pocket today doesn't mean they're expendable. Your existance serves me no purpose DRM, does that mean I shouldn't care if you were suddenly put on death row for a crime you didn't commit? I'm not sugesting we go in and put a "freeze frame" on time in the ANWR, I'm saying we should leave it alone and we shouldn't go in there and pollute and ruin it forever.

You saw the thread. I pleaded for several posts for them to get past the petty name calling and attacking. What the hell else could I do?

More trash talk.

Typical green extremist - you just parallelled the importance of my HUMAN life to some useless shrub in Alaska... good one.

But back to your first comment - who am I to decide they serve no purpose? WHo are YOU to decide they DO serve a purpose? Shoot, I have yet to see anyone even mention a purpose that "tundra" actuall serves...

And I never mentioned them serving a DIRECT purpose to ME - try to keep your own thoughts out of what I actually type.

Besides, you obviously missed the larger scope of what I said, as it was not related only to this topic....
