Another use for them. There used to a string of white xmas lights in there (running on batteries). They barely lit up anything.. A string of the 3 led pucks is a world of difference.

I didn't take any pics when we installed it. I'll be back up there in a few weeks (or so) as we need to do a bunch of reloading..

As it sits right now it is two 6v rayovac HD lantern batteries in series connected to the string. We used velcro to hold them up. We did run a wire between the battery and the positive side of the LED string and put a rocker switch (think swag light) to turn it on/off.

The plan when I go up there is to modify it so the switch can be used to turn it off AND use a plunger switch to detect when the door is open. That way it will only try to turn on when the door is opened but he could flip the switch to turn it off if he will have the door open for an extended period of time.

The full string should last about 8 hours on that pair of batteries.

Well more news from my side, I was blessed with a child 10 days ago and then my brother was taken from me early Sunday morning ( Aug 14th )

All sales will go to Thomas's memorial and his baby Tyler that he leaves behind.

I lost my brother and best friend early Sunday Morning . I have known this guy for since the day I was born and loved him with all my heart much. He was taken 4 days from his 25th birthday ( Tomorrow Aug 16, 1987). He was my protector and body guard when people where talking bad, and I was the same for him. We picked on each other like brothers do. We watched our favorite football team kick butt, while wearing our jersey. He was such a good guy, and now leaves behind a beautiful baby boy that just turned 2 months and a fiance he loved with his heart. He will always be there watching over us and protecting us like he did when he was here. He loved working with me on the trucks and couldnt wait until the bronco was ready so he can go out with me. RIP Big Brother. You will always be in our hearts and remembered for your smile. Please keep our family in your prayers and most of all his fiance and son
