i sure wouldnt run a dana 30 with a v8 and 37's, with the stock 4.0 it could work if you were easy on the skinny pedal but with the v8 i wouldnt trust it. i also wouldnt run the waggy 44 though, with it being a low pinion its only marginally stronger then the d30 what youll want is a high pinion 44

another ? I have spent today searching this frickin forum on what everyone calls the waggy 44. Am I correct on my assumption that I am looking for '86-'91 Grand Wagoneer front dana 44's? From what I am taking from this place, even with chromo's in my D30 it won't hold up under the 350 and potentially 37"s as my max out size. Anymore than that and I will never use there potential, and it just becomes a "cool" factor. I am wanting to end up with a drive it there and drive it back dependable.
