I would love to help you out but I lost the drawings when my last computer crashed. I can take some rough measurements on my existing dies but I wont be able to measure the radaii. My dies were also designed to be material thickness specific, so they only work for one gage. Any other weight material wont work properly. (thinner works okay, but you dont get as much dimple)

If you are considering making the dies yourself you should have enough knowledge to come up with some dimensions of your own. Just make sure to account for the thickness of the material when the die is fully compressed, then add 10% clearance or so. Also make sure the die has flanges that will squash the material around the hole completely flat, this will help prevent warpage. I drilled a 1/2" hole through my dies so I could draw them together with a 1/2" bolt. (I didnt want to be tied to a press, and this also helps keep the dies aligned properly.)

Hello, I'm doing some design work for a college project. I wanted to use dimple dies, and was considering making them. I made one along time ago and just offset the radius to meet the thick ness of the material. I was reading one of your posts on pirate4x4 about plans for dimple dies. Would it be possible to get a copy of those plans, I am using 14guage and 1/8"? Hole sizes would vary from 3/4" to 1.75".

    Thank You for your time.

    Regards,
