First off, I'm a huge fan of your work with compiling the Toyota Bible. I drill and tap Toyota IFS gearboxes for hydro assist, and finally made an instructional video on how i do it. There's always been unanswered questions as to how it's done, and I hope to shed some light on it. The video is very detailed and to the point. I include a few tips and tricks I've learned from doing these gearboxes.
I'm PM'ing you to see if you could edit a link to the video into the hydro assist section of your bible. I think this video would really encourage guys to start tapping their own boxes while they're still plentiful (unlike mini housings and 4 cyl cases) and make the subject a bit less taboo. Also it beats getting raped for $450 by Trail gear for a tapped box. Thanks for your time. Here's the link! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjbJ6479BKo&feature=youtube_gdata_player
There is a dead link in the toyota faq bible 2.0. Its the Axle Rebuild Picture Thread, Toyota 8" Front Solid Axle. Location is a few scrolls down from the top.
Hey man. I appreciate you stepping up to the plate, and since now that you will be in charge, If I see any tech or information I think should be in the FAQ, I will PM it to you so that you can add it. Cheers!
